What GCEEF Has Accomplished Over The Years:
Fish rehabilitation programs by seagrass restoration in Jamaica, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, USA. Hundreds of acres have been restored. The methods, pollution situations, species, and animal communities which return have all been studied.
Development of a new successful technology for the restoration of seagrass. Training youth from all nations, (especially culturally disadvantaged) how to heal the environment. Development of a new technology for using artificial reefs for breeding rather than aggregating fish in already over-fished areas.
