What GCEEF Has Accomplished Over The Years:

Fish rehabilitation programs by seagrass restoration in Jamaica, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, USA. hundreds of acres have been restored. The methods , pollution situations, species, and animal communities which return have all been studied.

Development of a new successful technology for the restoration of seagrass.

Training youth from all nations, (especially culturally disadvantaged) how to heal the environment. Development of a new technology for using artificial reefs for breeding rather than aggregating fish in already over-fished areas.

Coastal Resource Maps: Bahamas, Jamaica, Philippines.

Workshops within developed and developing nations on coastal rehabilitation and sustainability with citizensand NGO's, and governments,

Extensive research on prevention of damage from oil spills, from hazardous wastes, from sewage, from turbidity and other disturbances such as toxic substances.

The Greater Caribbean Energy and Environment Foundation (GCEEF), a 501c3 25-year old organization headquarter in Miami with a branch office in Port-au-Prince. GCEEF staff has extensive experience with organizing conferences in Miami, Haiti, Saint Lucia, Africa, the Philippines, Washington, DC, and elsewhere. GCEEF staff also has twenty five years of experience working with numerous NGO’s, donors, foundations and government agencies.
